Cái truyện này em kiếm đc trên một web Trung vít Tiếng Anh. Mới đọc đến chap 20. Nhưng mà truyện này hay dã man, tuy hơi nhiều lời thoại. Truyện viết về chuyện tình củm của EG và NC ( Char), đặc biệt có cả sự tham gia của chị heo ngố nữa!!! Heo vào phá EG nhưng EG vẫn thành đôi. Chapter1
Gillian Chung lay sleeping in her bed as she was dreaming of her Prince Charming, she dreamed of a castle and a big ball...BEEEPPP BEEEPPP!!
Gill: Arghhhhhhhh what the hell?? i was having sucha a nice dream who interrupted it A
very angry Gill said as she buried her head back in her pillow.
BEEEPPPP BEEEPPPP!!
Gill was about to carry on with her dream,she took a peep at her flashing alarm clock which said 8:30am,then lay her head down but soon after that she shot straight up from her bed...
Gill: 8:30 that means work, work which i'm late to, Edison is soo gonna give me some long lecture now!!!
Gill screamed and went into her bathroom to do her normal morning routine but this time 10 times quicker.
After that she quickly put on a apir of jeans with a green dress shirt and a pair of boots. she looked at the clock 8:40, she had 20 minutes to get to work, she quickly applied some light make up and accessorised her outfit with some green beads and then took her bag and case to the car.
8:50, she had ten minutes to literally fly to the company, whilst she was driving she used her brush to fix up her wavy hair, you see as a fashion designer you got to look your best and in style.
Gill finally arrived at her company at 9:10, normally staff shold be there by 8:55, this was her 2nd time at being late she was wishin Ed wouldn't punish her...that badly.
She parked her car in the car park then rushed to the lift, she checked her mobile and found 6 miss calls off her best friend Char, once she got to level 23 she got out rushed to her own office. On her way she bumped into Char and Nic.
Char: Gill! do you know how many times i called you this morning?
Gill: uh...6
Char: how many alarm clocks do you need ot wake up?
Gill: uh...
Nic: Char we better head off we've got a meeting to attend remember? *nudges Char away*
Gill: psstt *mouths thank you to Nic*
Nic: *winked back*
Gill then rushed back to her office, and quickly shut the door,and sighed a sigh of relief. Little did she know the dragon had arrived...



Chapter 2
Rethink
Gillian slid down the door and sighed with relief.
Gill: thank god Edison didnt see me...
But just then her chair swiveled round to reveal the one and only Edison Chen with his hands together.
Ed: is that so?
Gill: huh? *looked up and saw her boss looking down on her and quickly jumped up* oh hi Edison
Ed: what time do you call this?
Gill: *looked at her watch and smiled nervously* 9:10
Ed: 9:13 to be exact, you do realise you are late
Gill: yeah...*under her breath* obviously
Ed: what was that?
Gill: nothing
Ed: as a designer for this company, you need to be here on time so that you can complete the work that you need to do
Gill: i know
Ed: what happens if i needed one of your designs for an urgent meeting but you're not here to give it to me what do you expect me to say to the other company?
Gill: sorry
Ed: and so you should be, right now get back to work, i need that design for Gucci by 12 today ok
Gill: alright
Ed left Gill's office then went back to his own, while Gill sat down on her chair and got to work on the Gucci design, of course not forgetting to curse Ed in her head while she was doing so.
When Gill was finshed with her design she took it over to Ed's office once she got there she walked in on Nic and Ed discussing business matters
Gill: oh sorry was i interrupting something?
Ed: yes you weren't you taught how to knock
Gill: yeah i was but only to NICE people
Ed: why you...
Nic: Ed leave it so whats up Gill
Gill: oh right i came to show you the designs to see if they were ok or not *sits down beside Nic across from Ed*
Nic: lets have a look then *takes the folder off Gill and lays the pictures on the table*
Ed: hmmm they are pretty good
Nic: nah they're great
Gill: really, it took me a while to find the right colours for the outfit thats why it was late
Ed: it does need a little fix up though, make the collar a little more V-Shaped
Gill: ok
Nic: but after that yeah it should perfect to go through the meeting
Gill: ok i'll make another copy and then bring it back to you later on
Ed: before *looks at his watch* 1 please
Gill: that leaves me with 45 mins to complete it?
Ed: yup
Gill: but it might take longer
Ed: well try and make it before 1
Gill: fine *walked out the office and back to hers*
Nic: geez you gotta chill out with her man
Ed: i'm only telling her to do her job besides with her late record i'm being quite nice
Nic: shes only been late twice
Ed: yeah and?
Nic: nevermind anyways my point is shes a great employee
Ed: how?
Nic: well her designs are perfect for the customers requests,and her work is always done quick and on time
Ed: yeah i know that
Nic: well then, try and get to know her and maybe you guys wouldn't hate each other so much
Ed: well i don't hate her, just don't talk to her as much
Nic: well then you better get started
Ed: fine i'll give it a try later on i'll treat to lunch ok
Nic: good, now if you don't mind i have to get back to work
Ed: more like get back to Char
Nic: oi *through a pen at Ed*
Ed: alright get out of my office
Nic: *walks to the door then turns to Ed* the bar, 8 o'clock old place?
Ed: i'll be there
Ed's POV
Hmm maybe Nic does have a point maybe i need to get to know her a lil better, i mean her designs are good, and her lateness is quite cute, her face when i give her a lecture makes me laugh, well lets just see how this lunch goes then...
Chapter 3
Lunch
Finally Gill got the design exactly how Ed wanted it, she picked up the phone and called Ed.
Ed: Hello?
Gill: hey its me Gill, i'm finished with the design shall i bring it over?
Ed: *thought about whats Nic said* uh no i'll come and get it
Gill: *surprised that Ed is actually gonna come get it HIMSELF* uh...ok then
*KNOCK KNOCK*
Gill: come in
Ed: uh hey
Gill: oh right have a seat let me get the design for you
Ed: ok
Gill: here have a look *hands him the design*
Ed: *looks at the design* yup that should be ok to put through
Gill: ok then *puts it all back in a folder*
Ed: so uh Gill i was wondering if you would like to have lunch with me?
Gill: huh? *confused look*
Ed: you know just to get a chance to know you better since we got off on the wrong foot
Gill: right...ok then *still confused*
Ed: ok then meet me downstairs in the lobby at 1:30
Gill: sure
Ed: ok
1:35
Gill: *panting* uh..sorry i was late got a little held up
Ed: uh don't worry about it
Gill: so where are we going?
Ed: we can walk to the restaurant around the corner
Gill: ok sure
About 5 minutes later they arrived at a nice italian restaurant, they both sat and ordered their food. They would occasionally have small chat but that was it, until the food came Ed decided to break the ice
Ed: so what made you get into designing
Gill: well my mum used to be a designer and i really like what she did, so i decided to give it a try for myself
Ed: oh really kl, does your mum still design?
Gill: no, *gone a lil quiet* shes not here no more
Ed: *notices that shes gone quiet* oh sorry
Gill: *smiles* don't worry about it, its been a long time, thats what made me want to be a designer even more, for my mum
Gill: so what about you , why you in the fashion industry?
Ed: at first i didn't want to but my dad made me so no choice, but i kinda like it now
Gill: oh family business is it
Ed: yeah, Nic and my family together in one company
Gill oh right kl
Ed: to be honest your work is really good
Gill: *smiles* see told you my work is the best
Ed: soo full of yourself *laughs*
Gill: well hey even you said it yourself i'm good *smiles*
Ed: yeah yeah whatever
Gill: hey you know what you're not actually that bad
Ed: back to you
Gill: its just that sometimes you give people a very bossy and cool impression so no one dares say anything to you
Ed: yeah, well thats the boss attitude for you, i'm not usually like this out of work, just putting up a show
Gill: well your show sucks *laughs* you should lighten up more maybe people will like you more
Ed: hmmm i'll give it a try but i can't gurantee anything
Gill: you can one thing though
Ed: whats that?
Gill: this lunch *smiles*
Ed: *chuckles* no problem

Chapter 4
Bar
After lunch Ed and Gill both walked back to the company together, finally no more war with each other!
Gillian was packing up to go home, when Char knocked on her door
Char: hey
Gill: hey whats up
Char: wanna come "Blue Island" (made up bar name)
Gill: uh sure what time?
Char: round 8
Gill: ok who's going then
Char: oh the usual you,me,Ed and Nic
Gill: *looks at Char* ooo Nic eh?
Char: *blushes* yes Nic
Gill: i see you blushinggggggg *laughs*
Char: heyyy *play hits her*
Gill: just say it you like Nic
Char: no i do not
Gill: *tickles her* say it and i'll leave you alone
Char: *in between laughs* hahahahha...ok ...hah...fine i'll say it
Gill: go on
Char: i...hahah...like...Nic
Gill: *laughs* sorry i just had to do that
Char: hmph
Gill: come on don't be like that
Char:....
Gill: all your drinks my treat tonight
Char: ok you said so!
Gill: come on lets go *starts walking*
Char: wait!
Gill: *stops* what?
Char: i need a lift home, i didn't bring my car with me
Gill: *sigh* first i have to pay for your drinks and now a life home, lucky you live with me and i'm sucha nice friend
Char: course you are *links arms with Gill and they both start laughing*
They both got into Gill's car and drove home, once they got home they both got changed ready to meet the guys at the bar. Char was wearing a pale yellow dress, with a big brighter yellow belt around her waist to show off her figure, she wore pair of silver stillettos to go with that and had her hair up in a bun which made her look elegant and pretty. Gill was wearing pale baby blue dress top with a dark blue belt around her waist to show off her figure and a pair of jeans, she wore a pair of silver boots with that, her wavy hair was up in a messy bun which made her look beautiful and perfected her outfit. They both put on some light make up, by then it was already 7:30, they deicded to wait in for a few more minutes before driving off to the bar, since it is a mans job to wait for the ladies. They watched telly for about 10 minutes before finally setting off to "Blue Island".
Nic and Ed were already waiting at the bar, sitting at one of the tables waiting for the girls to arrive. Nic was wearing a black button shirt with the first 3 buttons loose with a pair of baggy jeans while Ed was wearing a white button shirt with faint grey stripes on it, he also had the 3 first buttons loose and pair of baggy jeans. They were both just randomly chatting like they always do when the girls arrived...
Char: hey guys sorry we're late *takes a seat*
Gill: yeah *does the same*
Nic: *looked at Char in amazement* uh don't worry about it
Gill: *notcied Nic* i know shes beautiful tonight right? *nudges Nic*
Char: Gill! *nudges Gill then starts blushing*
Nic: yeah she does *smiles at Char*
Char: thanks *smiles back*
Ed: well you're not doing too bad for yourself either looking casual yet pretty
Gill: why thank you, don't forget i am a fashion designer
Ed: oh yeah *laughs*
All four were just chatting and drinking when Nic asked Char for a dance, so now it was just Gill and Ed at the table. They were both just talking like they did at lunch when they heard "Eddie..."

Old Friends
Gill: did someone just call your name?
Ed: yeah thats what i thought
Gill: do you know that girl coming towards us *points her finger at the girl without the girls noticing* (do you get what i mean like you know when u show someone somthing but u don't make it obvious so u might be like moving your finger across your nose to point in that direction?? lolz nvm if you don't)
Ed: i dunno can't see
Gill: well you're about to find out shes here
Girl: Hey Ed memba me? *smiles at Ed*
Ed: *thinks for a moment* oh you're Vincy right?
Girl: yeah you remembered me
Ed: when did you come back
Vincy: couple of weeks now, gosh its been soo long since i've seen you
Ed: yeah i know its good to see you again *looks at Vincy, as Vincy does the same*
Gill: umm Ed *waves her hand in front of Ed's face*
Ed: oh right yeah?
Gill: don't you think you should offer this lady a seat
Ed: oh sorry yeah take a seat *moves in one seat*
Vincy: thanks *looks at Gill* i'm sorry i don't think we've met?
Gill: oh sorry forgot to introduce myself,my names Gillian Chung, i'm a designer at Ed's company *holds her hands out to shake with Vincy*
Vincy: oh right, i'm Vincy Yeung, Ed's old school mate from the US *shakes Gill's hand*
Gill: nice to meet you
Vincy: and you too
Ed: so uh Vincy what you doing now?
Vincy: well i've been helping out my uncle at his music company
Ed: oh right thats kl
Vincy: so what about you? working in your dad's business now i take it
Ed: yeah its going well, not so bad
Vincy: but fashion wasn't your thing was it?
Ed: no it wasn't but things change don't they
Vincy: i guess they do
Then there was silence for a bit
Gill: *whispers in Ed's ears* you have no idea how to be a gentle men do you?
Ed: *whispers back* what?
Gill: ask the girl to dance she looks bored out of her brains
Ed: what
Gill: ask the girl to dance stupid!
Ed: ok ok
Ed: uh Vincy do you wanna dance
Vincy: uh sure but then wouldn't Gill be alone
Gill: pshh don't worry about it Nic and Char will be back later i'll be fine you go ahead
Vincy: you sure?
Gill: yeah now go Ed!
Ed: ok ok gone
Then Ed lead Vincy to the dance floor, they both started dancing together, while Gill was sitting drinking her drink, guys came up to her and asked her to dance but she turned them all down. Not long after Nic and Char came back.
Nic: hey Gill
Gill: hey, you guys have fun *wink wink*
Char: it was only dancing
Gill: oh yeah then why you holding hands? *raises her eyebrows*
Nic/Char: uh....*quickly lets go*
Gill: go on just tell me you guys are going out and give me my red envelope for helping you guys *places her hands out*
Char: you're not getting anything *smacks Gill's hands*
Nic: hey wheres Ed
Gill: oh hes...wait a minute you're tryna change the subject
Char: *whispers into Gill's ears* i'll tell you at home
Gill: fine i'll let you off this time
Char: so where is Ed? *looking around*
Gill: hes on the dancefloor with Vincy or something
Nic: Vincy?
Gill: yeah you know her
Nic: did she used to go to the same school as Ed
Gill: i think so why, who is she?
Nic: oh her shes Ed's ex girlfriend
Gill/Char: ohhhhhhh
Nic: they broke up because Ed had to come to Hong Kong, they were close, but i dunno now
Gill: oh i see *looks to the dance floor to see Ed dancing with Vincy* they look happy
Char: where? which one is she?
Gill: the one with the white top and skirt on with black boots,long hair
Char: ohh herr
Nic: no change in her i see
Nic's POV
Need to have a chat with Ed later on
At about 11:30pm they all decided to go home since they had work tomorrow, Gill and Char were going in one car, Nic in his own and Ed was gonna drive Vincy home.
